Hi! I'm Katherine Penland from Houston, Tx. I'm a freshman at Trinity and I am excited about the school year. I'm not currently involved in anything on campus, but I am looking forward to getting involved in the upcoming weeks. I have always been involved in either theatre, dance, or voice, but have decided to not pursue any of them in college. Instead, my major is currently International Studies. I'm interested in the issues over seas, such as woman's education, refugee problems, exponentially growing populations, and other socioeconomic problems out generation is dealing with. And something interesting about me is that I'm related to Pocahontas. 

     My family owns Macs, and I am not familiar with Windows or many of their programs. In high school I took a Photoshop class( on a Mac) and learned a lot about photoshop. Other than that, my computer and technology skills are extremely limited. I still don't know how to work my digital camera.
